Ecoluxplorer works in three simple steps:
- Upon selecting your destination, our generative AI-based platform takes you through a one-minute survey-structured fun onboarding process to learn what kind of experience you seek.
- We then instantly generate your itinerary with an instant price quote.
- One of our local travel gurus from your destination will refine your itinerary further and confirm it within two business days.
Does it cost me anything to use your generative AI-based travel planner?
It is free to use our travel planner; you can use it whenever and wherever you want.
Who are the local travel gurus?
Our travel gurus have extensive experience organizing tours in their localities. Our team thoroughly vetted them before their approval for the platform. Upon confirming your instant itinerary and price quote with a few basic details, you will be assigned a dedicated travel guru who will guide you through the end of your trip. We focus on personalized travel experiences, and your local travel guru handcrafts our AI-generated itinerary to make your dream vacation come true.
Can I book a part of my trip on my own?
Unfortunately, you cannot. At Ecoluxplorer, we only design complete tour packages (including flight tickets) with a few options for further add-ons for additional activities during your trip.
Can I change my itinerary after confirming and paying for my trip?
At Ecoluxplorer, we know that we constantly change our minds, especially when it comes to vacations. If you have more than a week left before the start of your trip, you can coordinate and replan your itinerary with your designated travel guru as many times as you want, completely free of cost.
What if I find cheaper prices or deals somewhere else?
You won’t! And your price is always protected by our price-lock or drop guarantee.
What is a price-lock or drop guarantee?
Our state-of-the-art machine learning algorithms generate your price quote at the lowest possible price point and lock it against dynamic pricing. Suppose you can find a lower price for the same itinerary anywhere else on the web. In that rare case, we will match our price and refund you the difference, plus an additional 10% of your original payment for your inconvenience.
How does payment work?
We require a 20% deposit of your instant price quote at the time of booking confirmation. The remainder of the balance is typically due, and the trip is fully non-refundable one month before the start of your journey. If you prefer a monthly payment plan, please contact your local travel guru for further details.
If I can’t travel, will I lose what I paid for my trip?
In most cases, you can reschedule your trip at no additional cost if you give your specialist at least one week’s notice before the start of your journey. Flight fares will be adjusted based on your choice of dates.
Does Ecoluxplorer provide any cancellation protection?
You can choose cancellation protection as an optional add-on to your trip purchase. If you purchase the protection and cancel more than a week before your departure, you will get a full refund, and only the deposit and any service fees will be forfeited. Does Ecoluxplorer provide any travel insurance?
Ecoluxplorer does not provide any travel insurance. However, we strongly recommend purchasing third-party insurance to cover unexpected events during your trip.
Is Ecoluxplorer currently operational?
We ceased operations in April 2024.
